The two transformations which produce paper and textile normally cause the destruction of forests and the use of chemical materials in textiles today constitutes one of the causes of pollution by the discharge of wastewater rich in toxic chemical substances which can contain heavy metals. So, to avoid these problems, we propose to use algae fibers mixed with other non-polluting elements to obtain paper and textile fabrics to preserve forests and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and wastewater and solid materials.
